Matan is a national organization that advocates for Jewish students with special needs, empowers their families, and educates Jewish leaders, teachers and communities so that all Jewish children have access to a rich and meaningful Jewish education.

Description
Matan's goal is to help Jewish educators understand that "special education is just really good education" -- and that changes they can implement in order to be more inclusive actually benefit every learner . Matan defines "special need" as anything that impacts a child's ability to learn, whether a learning disability, developmental delay, attention disorder or social/emotional challenge.
