We are excited to invite current grantees of Natan's RSJ Grants committee to apply for a renewal of their grant through Amplifier.
Natan’s Grants for Initiatives for Russian-Speaking Jews will support initiatives that are using innovative approaches to build Jewish community and strengthen Jewish life among Russian-speaking Jews in North America, especially for those who are not currently engaged in Jewish communal life. Natan also seeks to empower new leadership in the RSJ community by supporting initiatives that encourage participants to become active agents of change within their own communities.
Organizations supported through this grant program might include:
Some grants require specific questions to be answered in order to make a decision. Every applicant will be required to answer the following questions in order to successfully complete the application process.
Since receiving your Natan grant, what would you say is your biggest lesson learned? In what way will this impact your organization moving forward?
Make the case: Why should Natan continue to fund this initiative? How does your organization and its model align with the goals of the Grants for Initiatives for Russian-Speaking Jews grant area outlined in the RFP, found here.
Natan is seeking to support organizations that are focused as much on developing adaptable and replicable new models as they are on their own organizational needs, with the goal of generating systemic change. Please tell us how your organization’s work might potentially be adapted, replicated, or scaled in the future.
Tell us about the partnerships - both formal and informal - you have with other organizations. If you do not yet have organizational partnerships, tell us about the partnerships you hope to create.
What is your organization’s current total operating budget? If you are applying for prorgam support, please also include the total program budget. What is the amount you are requesting? Give the reasoning behind the specific amount you are requesting from Natan, how you will use the funds, and what you hope to accomplish during the grant period. Please provide specific action items and numbers of people you hope to engage.
Note: organizations may request funds of up to US$50,000.
Our Jewish Giving Circle Incubator will help you bring your giving circle to life. Whether you're 23 or 73, interested in social justice or Jewish innovation, and ready to give $50 or $10,000, we want you to join the Incubator. Apply today!
