Camp Nai Nai Nai Scavenger Hunt

Using a mobile app, the Camp Nai Nai Nai Scavenger Hunt will introduce racers to amazing experiences in their town and invite them to engage with their city’s art, food, culture, Jewish history, and contemporary Jewish life in a way never experienced before. Be prepared for the unexpected.

Location: Encinitas , California
Year founded: 2018

Imagine you and a few of your best friends get to race and discover hidden gems in your own backyard —competing against dozens of other local teams. Using a mobile app, you and your friends will compete by solving challenges and riddles and following clues. Trying new foods? Random acts of kindness? Costumed, impromptu street dance parties? Teams will submit their photos, videos, and text submissions using their phones and will engage with Jewish life in their city in creative and unexpected ways. Competition will be for real prizes and there will be a small fee for admission.

This is a new way to engage underserved Jewish individuals and families and will be marketed to Jewish young adults in major metropolitan areas. Through a carefully designed and curated experience, game players will follow clues to learn about different Jewish experiences in their cities. Players will be instructed to explore new places, engage with new organizations on social media, and through this will discover new elements of living an active Jewish life in their city. The scavenger hunt will initially be built on the existing Camp Nai Nai Nai brand to leverage a new and budding audience. While Camp Nai Nai Nai launched its inaugural session in 2017, the scavenger hunt is a new and unfunded initiative. Camp Nai Nai Nai is a Jewish summer camp for adults that is scheduled for two weekends in the Summer of 2018. It is its own brand, powered by Moishe House and housed in Moishe House's 'office of Innovation.'
