Be'chol Lashon

As the Jewish community becomes more racially/ethnically/culturally diverse, we are bringing our commitment to civil rights forward into the 21st century through educational resources, leadership networks and community conversations. Younger generations value an inclusive, diverse Jewish community.

Location: San Francisco , CA
Year founded: 2000

Be'chol Lashon (In Every Tongue) grows and strengthens the Jewish people through ethnic, cultural, and racial inclusiveness. We celebrate the diversity that has characterized the Jewish people throughout history, and which continues to shape our community through contemporary forces including intermarriage, conversion and adoption. We foster growth and advocate for an expansive Jewish community that embraces its differences primarily in the following three ways:

1. We develop networks of diverse Jewish community and thought leaders;

2. Convene a variety of conversations, programs and partnerships for diverse Jews and their family, friends and allies; and

3. Create experiential educational resources including curricula, trainings, and trips.
