In 2005 a group of Israeli fresh parents in Berlin initiated for their newborn children a series of gatherings for playing and celebrating the Jewish holidays in Hebrew. Over the years these meetings became regular, evolving and changing their form according to the children’s growing age and the people who were involved in the group.
In 2013 Dovrat Meron joined the parent’s initiative and while keeping its spirit she launched Todanke. She extended the range of the activities, adding Hebrew lessons and developed collaborations with similar groups that are active in Berlin. Since 2014 Todanke is a non-profit organization with legal capacity under German Civil Law by the Federal Republic of Germany (e.V)We invite you to join our activities and will be happy to meet you in person.
